Fabulous walking and checking out the puffins at South Stack

The coastal path between Porth Dafarch and South Stack is quiet, beautiful and on this day gorgeously hot. Raven, chough and feeding terns are often seen along this stretch. It is also great for wildlflowers from spring through until the end of Autumn. There are lots of places to sit and sunbathe or wildlife watch, completely secluded so you can sit and enjoy it in a world of your own.

The walk from here, right up to South Stack and the top of Holyhead mountain is just amazing. The scenery gets more dramatic as you go along. Also the wildlife, with chances of seeing seals in the tide races and porpoises or bottlenose dolphins off South Stack.

The guillemots, reazorbills and puffins all have chicks at the moment, so its a fabulous time to go and see them. We are off to South Stack this evening to take photos. Check the blog later this week to find out what we saw.
